Our Team

Premier Expeditions was founded by a highly experienced outdoor professional, Chris Phillips who has over 15 years working in the Outdoor Industry. It is the sister company of Premier Ski and Snowboard, an established provider of overseas snowsport holidays for schools and groups.

Chris Phillips is a qualified Mountain Leader with many years' experience of planning and leading expeditions in mountainous terrain. He also has substantial experience in delivering DofE expedition programmes for the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, having spent 12 years as the DofE Manager for a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Directly Licensed Centre. He is the founder and director of our sister company, Premier Ski & Snowboard. Chris lives his wife Jo and their son Isaac in Nottinghamshire.

Our Instructors

Peace of mind comes with the knowledge that participants in our expeditions are in the safest of hands. Premier Expeditions employs only highly experienced and fully qualified instructors, trained and vetted by ourselves.

As well as holding the appropriate Mountain Leader Training Board qualifications, our instructors hold the Outdoor Incident Management first aid certificate, and have up-to-date DBS clearance to work with young people.

All of our expeditions are led by a Senior Leader who is a qualified Mountain Leader and employed by Premier Expeditions.
